 I am a real ultimate nerd! I love StarWars, I can't believe it sometimes but I feel it inside my heart!

I used a blue gel over a snoot to make the blue.

Yes, those are Nikkor lenses in the background.

I used the 60mm Micro-Nikkor lens the D1x came with.

Nice idea but the execution is wanting. The set up would work better against a solid back ground, the current one is very distracting. Also the focus is wanting, I like the choice of lighting, gives a more spacey look to the shot. A 5

A complete black background would have done a lot

Background is distracting. Think I'd have tried to completely black it out or something. But I like the setup and blue light.

yes ok....don't like the blue light...its not my taste, i see the conflict, but still don't really like the angle it was shot on

Good lighting, nice sharp focus on your subjects and good use of a shallow DOF.

This would have been a much better picture if there were a solid black background. I find the indistinct things in the background very distracting. That said, I still rated it above average.

Hehe! I was gonna do something like this but I couldn't find my action men figures... Nice pic, love the eerie lighting! Objects in the background are a little distracting tho.

i dig the name, cool lighting too. backgrounds a bit cluttered.
