I put my rent check in an envelope and tape it to the door. It magically disappears within a couple of days. I ran out of small envelopes, so this month I had to use a #10 letter-sized one.

yes this is brilliant .. love the shapes and the pretty tile number with the design around it and your envelope with the 'don' written in hand writing .. great shadows .. :)
What a pretty door number plate. I would definitely worry about it dissappearing into the wrong hands, but hopefully you live in a nice area where you don't have to worry about such things :)
Hey thats a nice concept.
Except in my case perhaps the 'magical disappearence' would to associated with someone making off with it and then later realizing its an A/C cheque.
