I kind of stole this idea from wanjun while we were talking about the challenge. We shared what we wanted to do and my idea was completely inconceivable because i didn't have ANY of the props needed. She mentioned doing a white witch of some kind and I loved that idea and she said that since she would probably not be able to execute it because she doesn't have the makeup so she said I could do it instead. The actual pictures didn't come out close to how I had originally thought of, I wanted something more fierce and evil but this one was the best of the bunch in my opinion so I went more for the friendly ice princess thing. We painted her face with white ben nye makeup and put glitter on her eyebrows and some other eyeliner and makeup whatnot. This had quite a bit of editing in order to smooth out the skin and give the white look. Sally's eyes are actually hazel so I changed her eye color too and I also messed with her hair a bit to add a little bit of wave to some of the flyaways.
This was lit with a softbox above and behind me taking the picture, a reflector under her face and the background is a large translucent reflector with a light behind it.

Love the movement in the hair and the smoothness of the skin. I think you could have even cropped this closer--I'd love to see those gorgeous blue eyes stand out even more, in a closer version. But very well done!
I like the hair and desaturation of the face. I think something in processing made the eyes and eyelashes oversharp. A trick I use to smooth skin is to duplicate the image and apply a gaussian blur to the whole layer, than erase out the parts that I don't want blurred, than fade the opacity of that layer until I find a smooth transition. The lighting is also very smooth and fits your ice princess theme.
