i used my 'going thru the carwash' as an overlay ...

The POV and texture overlay (along with the blue tones) really add to the sorrowful emotion conveyed. Completely different feel than the original. Good edit.

That is very cool. I like that her foot is cut off - it kind of works with the unexpected overlayered texture. Nice light too. The yellow flowers add a nice balance. ;~D
