 Shot in heavy fog. I had to shoot at ISO 800 and there is noise in the water. Sorry.

The water is pretty noisy in real life as well as in this image so I wouldn't give it another thought. We are starting to get some winter swells here in Kauai so I am looking forward to some great photos. I need a longer lens however. I love the textures of the water and the bright color of the board is magnificent.

Would have worked well for "stopped motion". Very nice capture- I love surfing images- water/ocean is always visually appealing !

It's a very god action shot! I'm concentrating more on the surfer's expression and the water flow behind him than searching for grains in the shot lol
