Spoilt only by the background. If this had been taken from ground level you might have been able to get the sky as the background which would have made for a much cleaner, neutral composition, putting the focus plainly on the bird and also you would have had an amazing angle
Well done. There were a lot of bird images submitted for this challenge, but this may be the best on yet. You were at an excellent angle to catch this and the focus and DOF are spot on. I love the green hue underneath the wings. Well captured.
the bird is sharp and the green/yellow background I quite like. I'd just have rotated it a little so the grass was level and maybe found some way of lightening the underside of the wings somehow.
