came up with this idea on saturday, but didn't get a chance to shoot until tuesday night. this abandoned building was the subject of two other entries I've had in the past. set up the camera on a tripod, opened the shutter in bulb, popped the front of the building with a flash and blue gel, then used another flash with orange gel for the interior. closed shutter. this was the last of 9 exposures, and I knew this was the one when I looked at the lcd.
PP - absolute minimal. Opened raw in ACR, adjusting white balance and blacks. slight crop. USM at 20, 50, 0. resize, slight bump in mid-tones on curves. save for web.

Really cool image - love the colors and the perspective - the sky of gold to contrast the blue building really works well here. One of the best of the challenge.
I enjoy this image, the oranges and blues work rather nicely together and the fact I can see through the windows/door that it is indeed topless is a great bonus. Very nicely done.
