very well done on the fringing of the feather, though I'm not sure the colour isn't a touch too over-done for me. The spine of the feather though, where it comes out of focus in the right corner, really pulls the eye all the time, making too much of a distraction for me.

Interesting take on the challenge with good textures showing. Focus could have been just a touch sharper but all in all, it's a pleasant composition.

I like this shot, but I don't really care for the color of the feather and how the quill(?) is a bit out off focus near the middle of the photo. 6
