The depth of field looks surprisingly shallow for this to have been taken at f/10. While I like the high-key treatment, my only gripe would be that the plate and sauce dish blends into the background a bit too much. If you could have kept a little more edge detail I think it would enhance the photo some. But of course that is just my opinion, and there are probably others that would disagree with said opinion. Overall the image looks very bright, and I wonder what would happen if you added a bit of contrast to it to make the colors pop a bit more. The flash or lighting effect on the Wasabi takes away from the detail of the spicy paste.
Overall you have captured a plesing image of a food that I love to eat. I just think a bit more contrast would make it that more appetizing!
