I had something all ready that was not a portrait....and then we went out today and took some pictures for Christmas. I really like these much better than my original submission. I realize that my top photographs are all portraits. They just catch my eye so much more than anything else I do. I need a mentor in landscapes.
Apparently the green cast didn't go over so well. But heck...I still like it.

You captured her beautiful hair beautifully. I'm seeing a slight greenish cast to this which I think is not flattering. I'd like it better if it was a little warmer. 7
one of my favorites in this challenge. After i got over the sickly green face, i fell in love with this beautiful child and her long hair. Often the subject is all you need to make a great photo. ...also a good photographer to capture it. ;-) That backlighting works wonders too. 7, no lets make it an 8
