PP: crop, smart sharpen, noise ninja, clone out a little motion blur on wing edges, replace color to reduce blue fringe on wing edges, luko sharpen, curves, B&W conversion with tint, adjust brightness of sky, border, resize, save for web.

Julianne, I really like the perspective and capture of facial expression. Unfortunately, it's just a touch soft. Does your camera have a sports mode? I often use it to photograph birds in flight and find it works well for motion. The downside on the Canon model, at least, is that the sports mode only works in JPEG (no RAW).
For the record, I like the border. One of my personal favorite kind of borders to add. :-) Good capture - I especially like the way his head is turned and I love the way the light is shining off the tips of the wings and tail.
