On October 18th some pretty good storms were headed our way. Ken and I rushed out to the beach in anticipation of capturing some lightening pictures. I wasn't too hopeful that I would capture any lightening. Every time I focused on one area where I thought the lightening was occurring most then the lightening seemed to change spots. Finally after 45 minutes of frustration I captured my first lightening shot. It can be seen in my profile. I then was able to capture a couple more shots. This was one of the last ones I got.
My expectations for this as far as scoring aren't too high. I would be very happy if it scored no lower than the 50th percentile. I don't feel that the lightening has a strong enough presence in the picture. I also don't like how the light turned out on the lighthouse. I wish I could have got the star effect but, I wasn't at the right angle.
