 No expectations: will be happy if someone likes it is all. Underexposed at 3x zoom; no cropping; desaturated and fiddled with gamma and contrast, resized, sharpened and compressed in Irfanview.
Post: Fairly content with score and appreciative of comments and suggestions -placement/existence of plane has concerned me.

I really like the idea here. Maybe just a bit too much negative space for me, but all the textures and patterns really make the image. Nice B&W processing.

seems excessivly dark, and the plane is too far off, almost unrecognizable. I do like the pattern of the waves in the foreground.

nice textures in the sea, shore, and clouds.

And is that really a seaplane taxiing towards us ??

the only problem is that (on my monitor at least) I get an ovewrwhelming sense of darkness which takes out much of the positive impact.

Maybe a tighter crop losing some of the dark water at the bottom ?
