 I suppose this will bomb due to the post processing. But I enjoy it.

PP- tight crop, this is not even 1/4 of the original, USM and levels. Then I duplicated the background and blurred it, slapped on a layer mask and masked the edges through. Then there was some manual blurring...and a bit of color balance, I dont know, I %&$#ed around quite a bit...

I'm really surprised how far down the challenge this finished - I had it pegged for top twenty.

Aw, glad it didn't bomb like you thought. In my opinion, the post processing separates it from all the other, more boring flower shots you tend to see in free studies or macro challenges.
