I can see why you liked this. To me it definitely says "old" - both the subject itself and the way you've processed it. It's quiet, it's not flashy, it's got a touch of class. It is not, however, the type of thing that will generally score well here. Too quiet, perhaps. From a technical standpoint, I like your chosen DOF and the composition. About the only thing I'd say you need to pay a bit more attention to (and you really can't in basic) is the very bright spot on the right - it does draw the eye a bit. |
