The zipper on my coat. Used my +4, +2 and +1 diopters and foused manually as close as possible. The lens was maybe 1/2" away from the zipper. Lit from the side using a mini maglite in motion, so technically this was PWL.
A bit of tweaking on saturation & levels. Then, Gaussian Blur at radius = 1.0. Resized for DPC.

The diagonal setup of the composition really helps to make this an interesting composition. The closeup is great. Love the way you have the lighting. The shadows and highlights really bring out the textures in the weave of the cloth and the smoothness of the metallic zipper. "8"
Good tones, good detail, and a very fine sense of texture - can almost fel the roughness of that wool, and the mtallicness of the zip is well displayed. Strong composition, but without that spark of fascination for me.
When I look at this image, the word STRONG comes to mind. Very strong composition and subject...the gold of the zipper really stands out. I hope it does well.
