Took this one night while hunting for aurora borealis with Heida and JPR during his visit to Iceland. We didn´t see any but at one of our stops I took this shot of the church at Krísuvík, used a flashlight to light up the church and the "sunset" is just ambient light coming from Reykjavík, this is taken several hours after sunset.
Most of you have probably seen lot´s of pictures of this church but frankly, it´s the first time I have ever posted a photo of it.
It was very windy so the tripod moved slightly during the exposure so there is some slight ghosting on the rooftop but I just think that´s cool since Krísuvík is supposedly haunted!
Really wish I had anything other than a nightshot for this challenge but I haven´t really shot anything else or better this month. I have been up to my ears in work and only gotten out three nights this month, the other two besides this night was last sunday and monday and from since then to now I have been working very long days so I simply didn´t bother finding anything else and I had already posted this on flickr and had it processed and ready. Only other options were portraits from my PAW project and while I like those, this is my favorite shot this month.
