Those tendrils...! I've never seen such a thing on a fruit! This thing looks like it wants to eat me!!! Just kidding. This is a great photo, yet I agree with you about the crop. Amazing detail, depth and color!

Fantastic image! Congrat's for top 10. So clean and such lovely color tones. Wonderfully pleasing DOF. LOVE the curly "stems" in the background and the lighting is perfect. Should have scored several tenths higher IMO. Very nice Rina!

An example of a photo that's so amazing that it does well even though nobody can figure out how it meets the challenge. Beautiful!!!

This is a fabulous photo, though I don't get the context of the challenge topic. Maybe I'm too dense. Great bokeh and detail. Love the colors - or absence thereof.

Great looking shot. Love the detail in the flower and the blur on the back of the DOF.
If i was being super picky the crop off of the bottom is a little too tight, still a 9

Very well done. Clearly a dying flower at the end of the season. What kind of flower is this?

excellent focus and DOF. too bad the lower part is cropped off, while the empty space at left does nothing for the image
