After several days of rain, we had sun in SE Texas. This dock/pier is 5 minutes from my home. With camera on tripod and Tiffen 2x telephoto attached, I walked out and shot back with the afternoon sun to the left of the shot. I adjusted brightness, contrast, levels, cloned out some distracting reflections, cropped and saved for the web.

strong composition on the diagonal, pleasing color palette. Upper right is curious - too small to pull my eye through the shot but too large to ignore. I like that there's something there - perhaps more of it?
To me, this composition is lacking something. You have leading lines but they don't lead you anywhere. There is no focal point or actual subject. It's a nice study in reflection, but that alone doesn't make it pop!
