 Picture of my daughters favorite shoes, child size 12. Changed to green channell in PS7 increased brightness and contrast. Used slight gaussian blur and dust and scratches filters. Cropped and added border.

They don't look anything like my daughter's shoes. Good composition. Not sure if it does not need a lighter background for better definition.

Nicely composed (would like the 4 buckels to be sharper focused since they stand out against the black)

This is a nice study - lighting is good, background works well. I think I'd prefer the shoes a touch closer to each other, still with one at an angle, as you've posed it.
