where did you find a bug with such great colors? She's beautiful. I kind of wish the focus was more on the bug than the leaf, but is fitting with the challenge.

Nice macro shot, great texture contrast. I like the DOF and composition.

Wow...now that is some great texture! Is that bug really those colors?
Post actions
Hahaha, I don't know why but this photo makes me laugh. I like it...

DOF seems to shallow, perhaps if there was more in focus, there would be more texture.

whatever that is, it CAN'T be real! hahaha. It looks RIDICULOUS! Did you change the colors or something? If this is real I want to own one!

I'm back to comment. Nice detailed texture on the leaf and insect. DOF is great.

What the hell is that???? Great shot of the fuzzy feet and the leaf beneath this creature. Is it a toy?? What the.......

Good sense of the surfaces, and effective depth of field. The compromise between filling the frame with the thing and getting all of it in has left an unhappy situation with those bits that go out of frame, for me. Slavishly following the 'thirds' rule requires a little more balance in the other half of the frame, in my view, and here here is really nothing going on there.

I didn't know hair coloring was available in such small quanities! Very nice. 8

Interesting and weird. A little better focus and composition to see more of it would have been better.

whoah.. is that thing real??

I really like the texture under this furry creature. Is your friend real?

Totally wierd! I like the macro if this moth, if that's what it is. It fits the category perfect! the soft almost velvet like texture together with the hard brittle leaf. A real nice opportunity caught!

great texture of the leaf and the defined detail on the moth baby!-- i give it a 10!
