Your fluffy hawk has a great catchllight, but lacks a bit of feather detail. The tree trunk, however, fits the Category. Good seeing.

Nice catch. If you have the zoom, it would be nice to get a little closer. sharpening in PS a little would help.

The tree looks in focus and the bird looks just out of focus a little. A little more DOF would have captured them both and improved the score a little, but this is still a good shot with good composition and colors.

Good capture, though missing the fine detail needed for a great shot. You seem to have set contrast more for the tree than the bird - the graduation of light across the white feathers is muted. There is a sense of featheriness neverthless, so good work there. The confusion of branches doesn't help the coherence of the image, in 'dpc' terms, but its nice work.

This could really have been an amazing shot (hard to get, I'm sure) had it been just a little closer and focused right on the bird.
