University of Stony Brook vs University of Maine
Oct 20, 2007 game time 3:00pm at Stony Brook, NY
Final score: Stony Brook 30 Maine 23 (double overtime)
That's head coach Chuck Priore in the bg crouching behind the runner, WR Dwayne Eley (#7). Also notable in the bg is starting QB Josh Dudash (#11) and OL Steve Council (#65).
Capture:
Olympus E-20 (six y/o camera) with TCon-300 and TCon 14b extension lenses (35mm EFL of 600mm)
Manfrotto monopod
In-Camera settings: contrast low; sharpening highest; jpeg 1:2.7
lots of luck :)
PP: resize and basic sharpen command in PS
If I had my way with this photograph I would have boosted whites for the active players and would have decreased saturation slightly and applied a greater blur for the background in order to create more of a separation between fg/bg. I like the composition a lot but think it's too busy.
