This certainly fits the challenge well, and you have presented an intersting seascape well. I am somewhat unsure about the presence of the power boat, although I would conceded that the placement of the line made by the wake pleasingly echoes the further line of the land on the horizon.
Too much sea ... crop the image cutting away 50% bottom and you would get a much better "distance" shot with the boat in front and chimneys at the back
