I really like the colors and how they interact with each other and the shapes. Your pov has me looking down the channel and pulls me into the plant. To make this fine shot better,..a little more negative space?

soft pastel colour different from the plant? but still in the spirit of the true colour of the agave some how. I think superior vertical composition and use of the shadow - which might be even more dramatic if darker, however still very effective. Pink and purple barbs as a secondary design focus provides extra complexity to the design. Very adept composition and design.

Nice idea, can really feel the sharpness of the spikes. The colours feel a little bland though, don't know if you could have done anything about that.
