 While the lighting was poor due to the overcast day, the contrasting textures of hair, snow and a fur collar against an unblimished complexion made this my number one choice for this challenge.

darling portrait - just difficult to 'feel' the textures

No. Good prtrait, of its type, but both a very small image, and in the manner of good portraits it has reduced the level of texture in a flattering manner - even in the hair and the fur edging of that coat there isn't much.

Where is the texture here. In the snow, hair, or the fur? Or are you trying to capture all of it. 5

Expression looks a little impatient here :) I like it in black and white. For textures, it's okay. Not strong but not too bad.

I think this is over exposed, as there is little detail in the nose, the fur, or the snow on her head.

good idea, technically ok, just personal preference I don't think this is a particularly good interpretation of texture.
