In my interpretation the previous post has too narrow a point of view. The duality of the pencil allows it to fit the challenge; aside from it being a pencil in its traditional meaning, its also the woody's hands.
I agree though, that there is too much noise.
I love the idea and you definitely portrayed it well! Congrats on the finish!
Ok now I got the point that the duality of the pencil is playing the role here & I kindly accept my misinterpretation about using the pencil here.
The idea was nice with good humor but truly speaking I am quiet surprised by seeing this image in top 10. Because the pencil here looks to be used for drawing which is the basic purpose of using the pencil. I also agree with the comments saying about the background noise.
Anyway congratulations for your high finish :)

Hi bnilesh,
thank you for you comment, if you notice in the photograph information the photo was shot using iso100, hence no noise.
It is the design in the background.

Clare

Lol - clever. I like the woody, "hands" and unfinished eyes. The background has some noise which detracts a little bit for me. Overall though, it's fun to look at (and not chopsticks!). :-)
Sure someone else will say this but 'Edwoody Pencil Hands' could have been a good title. Nice image a little sharper and more contrast would have worked better for me though.
