Ernst Carl Gerlach Stueckelberg, Baron Souverain of the Holy Roman Empire of the Teutonic Nations of Breidenbach at Breidenstein and Melsbach, professor of particle physics at the universities of Geneva and Laussane, solved at least three physics problems, for which other people got Nobel Prizes. When he got quite old, he used to say "we live too long". The legend says that his dog knew more physics than many people present at his lectures. |
