This is a good idea.. the only thing lacking is good light on the glove.. would have improved it vastly..

I think this is a great idea but the pencil needs to be in better focus as the gloved hand becomes too strong in the image.

The DOF being so shallow and to focus point being the glove made it difficult to really look at this photograph.

Interested DOF use - but I would have shifted the focal point to the pencil, rather than the glove at the extremity of the photo.
