Challenge: What is this Pencil? (Basic Editing)
Camera: Pentax K110D
Lens: Quantaray AF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 LD Tele-Macro for Pentax
Location: SLC, UT
Date: Oct 13, 2007
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/6
Date Uploaded: Oct 16, 2007

I'm not sure if the blowout on the flathead takes away from the picture or not, I kind of like it. This was taken with natural light in a garage, next to a window. Hopefully the pencil looks like a screwdriver, rather than just a weirdly sharpened pencil.

Composition a bit off (too much blurred foreground) but I like the colours here. But I don't understand it for a minute I'm afraid.

The lighting on the flat head screwdriver is a bit harsh

The empty, unfocused space on the bottom sorta irks me. I'd try cropping it out.

I like the unique idea. The lighting seems a bit harsh for my personal tastes, but not a bad image.
