Whatever his score -- ya gotta admit: He's pretty cute, right? I took this at our Texas Wildlife Ranch, and as I came up the path to see him, he watched me, tilted his head the whole way in that adorable "Do I know you???" way, and as I got right under him, as if on cue, he started making cute faces and posing for me! The animals there are so personal. And they really do have a nice life. I don't worry about them at all being in "captivity" because they roam free on hundreds and hundreds of acres of land in the Texas Hill Country. They get great food, lots of love and attention, and lots of friendship. What else would one need in life :)

This has to be one of the best critter shots ever! I love those tall long tounged ones. I think you made the right choice too. The angle and the expression are just precious, and the light, crop, and background are perfect. Congrats on another blue.

AMAAAZZZING POV!!!!!! Holy cow (or I should say giraffe), this has gotta be the most creative, hilarious & cute portrait of a giraffe I've ever seen! The detail in its face, its expression, the color, comp... everything just perfect :-) SO deserving of the ribbon, HUGE congrats!!
