The lighting on this seems a bit too bright, maybe darkening the midtones and shadows would help

Very nice! Great capture of pollen all over the flower,although I wish the very middle would have been a bit clearer. Maybe not because of the pollen...but Nice!

Interesting take on the challenge to show something for some reason other than "it's pretty", but to show it as is, flaws and all, "working", though the lighting here is a bit harsh.
