I got a change to go out shooting during our family's visit to Vermont this weekend. Saturday was a washout, but Sunday was fantastic. I tried to take advantage of the warm sun and the great colors.
A single RAW image opened in PhotomatixPro and tonemapped. The tonemapped image was opened in Elements 3.0 - adjusting hue/saturation, levels. NoiseNinja on image to sharpen, soften, and add contrast. Crop. Save for web. Opened image and USM at small radius. Save.

When I saw this in the challenge I loved it but wondered whether it would get marked down as not being 'flora' enough. So glad that it didnt, this was a really refreshing change and I love the backdrop of a wall of leaves. Great contrast on the branches as well which gives the picture a 3d feel and lots of 'pop'
