PP:
1. From original, duplicate become 3 layers.
2. Assume, Layer 1 for sky, Layer 2 for sea, layer 3 for the docks area.
3. Each layer by using image=>adjustments=>level to find the tone and contrast i want to.
4. After I got the tone and contrast for each layer, I start use eraser tools.
5. Layer 1, I erased from bottom till horizon levels, keep image sky.
6. Layer 2 was at bellow layer 1, so I erased the area docks.
7. Layer 3, I no erased anything, got the tone and contrast by level before at point 3.
5. Merger 3 layers become 1.
6. auto contrast and sharpness.
7. Recomposed by crop tools
8. Used burn tools for docks area.
9. Finally, I put frame.
What I did in PP, likes do it in lab/dark rooms. No exposed right away, but try exposed several zone in picture.
Thanks, Ilias.

Your photo does pose a question - sort of. But really the answer is that this is a still life composition which suggests searching. The search could be "why did the photographer compose such a contrived still life?" or "why is such a tiny fisherman using such a huge net?" or, as you said "Where did he go?" I like the reds and the composition. 8.
Thank you for correction, it is my mistake, the title must "Where did he go?" :D
This image is beautiful. I didn't quite feel it responded directly to the challenge topic, but obviously the voters collectively disagreed with me on that :-) Lovely image, great finish.
Fun props. Original with a good link to the challenge. I would probably like the image even more if the distant background were cropped out. It has the potential to take away from the foreground and the main focus of the image.

One of my favorite shots of this challenge...it evokes emotion...especially, from a mom! Love the treatment, the isolation of the subject. Well done. 10
A perfect visual delight, well made and infectiously toned. The broad, outlined border is too suggestive, IMO, of a purely graphic perception. I speculate that, without the decorum, the range of the photo should extend beyond any commercial appeal and the style of the boots. (?)
Sweet! Best photo so far! Wow. Can I DQ you for that border? I don't care I wont! This is such a great shot I can't push the button. A closer crop would have been nice.
Very nice composition and selective lighting. I love the bright colors of the net handle and the boots. The only thing that could be improved on is the title. ("Where did he go?"). Great shot overall.
Wow! Amazing processing, very dramatic and wonderful colors. Nice hint of complimentary colors in the green and red of the net. I would love to see the original of this photo
