has a very desolate, abandoned feeling to it

Lesley, another great picture! I like the darkness and dreariness this picture gives off. It sure captures a day in the rain.

You do have a knack for the noir. Love this - love mist - love the subtle implication... any implication you can think up yourself. Very nice.

The grain caused by the fog works on this picture. It looks like a southeast asian painting. I have to admit, when I first saw the thumbnail I thought it was a breast shot. I was wondering if we were getting to know you a little better. ;-)

Ohmygoodness. . . no fair that you can get shots this cool while DRIVING! I like Muckpond's word: "timeless". Yes. That's it.

Great shot. It keeps pulling you in. I watch it and wait for the fog to clear, just a little, so I can see what that is in the background.

Oh wow - you know how I love cows and her silhouette makes the shot. This is wonderful les. Has a story and it leaves it up to the imagination of the viewer. The color palette makes me think they are trudging in the mud. Very nice.
