Where did you go to take this shot?? I would love to have a similar pic of myself. It's very ethereal and medieval at the same time. Excellent lighting. wow... grace is beautiful :) This looks like a portrait that I would expect to see as one of those huge oil paintings hanging along a winding staircase in a mansion somewhere... the light on her face makes me wonder what she is looking at... the most intriguing piece of this photo for me is the soft focus. This is a perfect example of how soft focus should be used... did you focus this way or did you use a soft filter? I would love to hear more about how this was done :) = 10 - jmsetzler
Absolutely fantastic lighting! I love it! Plus it has MY name...lol It has a very painterly quality. Even the model's ALMOST smile is good, and the pose is fne. So far my favorite. Good neg spc; love the color of her hair; the soft focus is great and works well for this photo; her position, to me, feels odd, though I cannot put my finger on just why that is. Overall a lovely shot. lhall-7
