I like the way all the different backgrounds - water, clouds, misty mountain - are all shades of grey and can be looked upon as one whole. It's great how you have detail in each of these so it's clear what the location is, and yet they are so harmonious. The size and position of the colourful boat within this grey really gives a feeling of isolation to it. I think this is a strong example of visual negative space which isn't a completely solid colour background.

I really like this. It is a picture that makes me keep looking. And then look some more. The color on the boat against the grey tones draws me into the picture. The reflection on the water is very nice, also.
