Great looking place, the group isn't a strong enough feature of the photo though.

what do we have here? a landscape with almost invisible people, or a portrait?..tough call uhh?

This is a candid, not even remotely a portrait.. DNMC IMHO
have a readup on the definition of `portrait`.

pretty shot but the interest is the landscape and the people are just a blip.

For me, this challenge should have the group as the main focal point. You have a nice image, yet the people seem almost incidental.

I don't so much see this as more than a group shot as opposed to a portrait. Sorry....

Nice picture of the landscape, but in a portrait I would like to see a little more of the people in a portrait. (4)

Group trek shot. Not sure about the portrait part. Great foreboding sky.

I do not consider this a group portrait.

Great landscape. Not really a traditional group portrait but I dig it. It would have been nice to pose them a little.

I am scoring a bit low since I think that people should be the focal point in a portrait

Not really a portrait in my book

While this is a unique shot, the definition of a portrait includes the representation of a person or persons, in which the face and its expression is predominant. I consider this a DNMC. Sorry

Striking photo and nice post work. My only criticism or question is, "Is this a portrait or snapshot?"

nice shot but being a group portrait i just feel the group of people should have been closer
