Egg looks a little oversharpened on the top-right, but otherwise I like the exposure and idea -- I think a lot of shallow DOF compositions are horizontal, not vertical.
Hilarious title for a great image! Nice details of the egg surface despite the fact that eggs are usually very plain. Good job cropping, too. Not sure if it was possible to blur the entire egg holder or not by shifting the focus point a bit higher on the egg. 7
Technically very well done - good job of handling those refelctions on the chrome so you didn't have any distracting elements. Lovely saturated colors, good composition and exposure. Congrats on a shot well done.
