 Photo taken of wild flowers in Southern Arizona. Put one side of sandwich bag over lens with rubber band and shot image to achieve soft focus. Adjusted brightness and contrast using Photoshop 7.0

the soft focus looks over done and borderline just blurry.

Poor composition. Tighter cropping may have helped. The image looks blurry to me.
