This was taken inside a victorian house in the historical Texas George R Ranch. I chose a window as still life with the curtains as the movement. I tried to catpure a subtle, yet warm feeling from the shot. I could have put some fruit on the shot, but I think people would have gotten confused and say that the subject and say that the subject (the fruit) was too little emphasized. I didnt want the fruit to be the focus of attention, so I decided not to shoot them. Some will consider this not to be still life, but I composed the picture with my camera where the window, the wall and the floor (along with the curtain) made the shot still life. I know its not fruit and wine bottles, but it is a composition of different objects in the house (wall, window, curtain, floor) that make a picture. And I placed my camera in such a way to capture the shot.

I was rushing during voting, and didn't leave a comment then, but I think this is an outstanding image and I gave it a 10. I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one who appreciated it.
STUNNING! I actually gasped when I saw this. This one has the issue of "is it a still life" blh blah blah to it but This is an excellent photo with great use of the motion element.
Beautiful shot, I love the empty composition minus the blowing curtain. The lighting is a little dark for my taste, but it's not terrible. THe biggest problem, is that I don't see the motion. You may be implying that the window is the still life and the curtain is in motion, but it's not totally clear, and may get you voted down.
