Lovely capture of texture, very crisp, and the background colors are beautiful and complimentary. The out of focus pine cone in front bothers me a little - maybe if the photo were cropped so only half of it were there it might not be so distracting. Overall a nice shot, though, and fits the theme of the challenge very well.
I like the use of DOF here, though you may want to experiment with which cone gets the focus (you probably already have). the tones and colors are very inviting!
Love the DOF and the detail in the focused area of the pine cone. Very sharp. - Composition lacks something, just not quite right (maybe the focused area is little to centered).
