I did'nt vote on this challenge, but looking at the final results, this one should have placed top 5!

Should've stuck with Deer :)

I absolutely adore this photo. It's so otherworldly and makes me want to be a goose on that grass. This should have scored tons and tons higher.

Alex, you got robbed on this one. The sense of depth provided by the long shadows is exceptional. I was one of your 9's. Wonderful work!

Lots to look and wonder at in your perspective.

good capture, interesting but I don't like the blazing sun. If you crop the top below the sun, having the first goose in the top rule of 3rds it may of added to the silhouette effect

Some great dodge/burn in the post-processing. very nice exposure.

There's something comical about this shot that I can't quite quantify. Perhaps it's the rank-and-file arrangement of the birds. Whatever, I really liked this :-)

This rocks. The depth is amazing and the bit of mist in the distance seals the deal.

It reminds me of Night of the Living Dead zombies. LOL. They are all facing the same way and walking!

I like the shot. The shadows of the geese are really neat. However, I'm not quite sure why the sky is dark in the top right corner of the photo. I would like it much better if the entire sky were bright.

Beautiful I really like this photo. I wonder how you could make the grass looks so green under such a harsh sun. Great work!
