Shot at the lake surrounding Victory Palace. I was waiting for some soldiers to walk by but none did. So you get a plant. I liked the sun reflected. It essentially created silhouettes of the whole scene.

And just where is a soldier when you need them?? hehe Too busy to pose for photographs i am sure. I love how the plant frames the reflection of the sun.
I like the overall framing of the shot. I think if you were just a wee bit taller, putting the tree into the lake you would have really emphasized the silhouette more. Nonethesless it is a lovely sunset shot with tons of detail especially consider shoot into the sun!
Fantastic sunset Deb. I was stunned when I saw the score but then the challenge is silhouette and that probably explains it. If you have any outtakes, you might want to enter one in Free Study. Great shot.
Deb, I thought that this was a terrific image. I'm at a loss to explain why it didn't do better. I love the brilliant sun.......it's actually much harder to get a good silhouette with this much light. Nicely done, IMO.
promising set up. the trees to the left are not rally adding to the mood of your picture. did you try different angles? may be getting lower so the 2 small plants do not align with the horizon? May be then getting closer to not show the houses?
