This is fantastic. The players make this photo, yes, as does the high contrast and the black and white, but I really like the heavy wood-like object above the guy's head at right that frames the picture, the hard line created by the variation in colour above their heads adding a kind of sub-frame, and the countering dark patch of shadow upper left. Awesome!
Awesome! This is a striking composition with the absorbed young couple and nonchalant girl passing by, juxtaposed against that dark, ominous figure to the far left. Excellent image, Gunnar!
