Thanks to gaurawawho created the amazing which I wanted to Deja Vu III. Hope you like my attempt to recreate and think I did it at least some justice.
Well the details....
Took 4 boxes of matches to get an effect I liked. 30 matches per box, 3 matches used per shot..... Not as easy as it looks. Who would have thought fire would be so hard to control? ;-)
My setup was almost the same as detailed in the original. Had to process twice to get different temperatures for the flame and match. Either the flame was washed out or the match was too yellow. Then a crop, NI, clone out of visible bit of starter match and USM, border, SFW.
Hope this does well. Hoping for a 6.2, thinking will be more like 5.5.

Wow! Wonderful details in the match head! And the colors are absolutely STUNNING. Love the bold and vibrant hues of the orange and yellow tones. Love the curves we see in the shape of the flame - it undulates and sweeps upward. My only critique on this composition is that I wish you did not crop it so close. You cut off the bottom and top portion of this flame. Including the flame flare in it's entirety would phenomenally increase the visual impact of your photo.
