I've shot this window a few times before. The house is right behind the church I attend. It usually has a piece of good tall ceramic pattern pottery in the window and no flowers, though I do recall some pussy willows at one point. This is the first time I noticed the big glass/crystal vase with flowers, some nice light pink spider mums. I loved how the light hit vase and flowers and that there are also higlights of other items in the room. But you also are looking through the opposite window and getting a DOF of the street beyond. Not sure if it comes off as well as I saw it, but it is OK for me.
Ohhh....fujimugs next competition is flowers in Black and white. I got a boat load to go shoot so hopefully you'll see some of them with both the fuji and nikon cams as I try to enter both groups when I enter there (hate not shooting in raw on the nikon, never did on the fuji, but they just cannot accept raw files for originals without exif....rats!).
Again I love the things you see, and find in everyday life, as you walk down the street.
Excellent composition again, and I like this in black and white, as it stands out so well, very dramatic and strong.
