With no photographers comments, I am not sure what you were attempting to achieve with this photo.

I will say that this shot seems to suffer from a lack of focal point, both technically (nothing in focus) and compositionaly (too many distractions) however, I don't really know what you were attempting to convey with this image.

The shadow portion is nicely composed and executed. IMHO the cluttered background behind the white surface could better be cropped out.
