This is a picture taken out the back door while the clothes are hanging up to dry.
The shadow that falls on the water bowl is actually created by a dog house with a food bowl sitting on top of it. I thought it looked a lot like a person too.

I wanted to see this one again without really remembering. There are a lot of entries in the challenge after all. I like it much better than before except for the on center dog bowl with someones head coming out of it.
Nice post production and a modern subject that lends itself well to the impressionist treatment. The shadow leading to the bowl is a distraction and the placement of the bowl in the central axis detracts from making it an excellent work. Nice colours and tonal range... all in all, well worth the 8.

like the title, and the laundry but then theres the pool and patio set w/umbrella and that whole other scene to compete with your title
Excellent shot; very mary cassat; stark lines and shades of blue-white that contrast excellently against that clay pot; perhaps the only criticism is that the composition is a bit busy; but great feel here- and that is the point.
