I think I remember all the PP steps.... Tweaked in raw, levels, brightness/contrast, Hue/Sat, 3 low level NI passes, Channel mixer to tweak colours even more, brightness/contrast again, a USM pass, Cropped, Saved for web, and another sharpen pass.

Wow - thanks everyone for the votes. This is my first ribbon, and first score above 7. I watched it all week, hoping the scorewould stick, and it did. Thanks again everyone.

This is an amazing photo!!!!! colors, content, etc, it is well done! magnificent piece of work! keep up the wonderful work! those colors are just great!
I'm always in awe when someone can take such an ordinary subject and take a photograph that knocks your socks off! The extra effort to take it at just the right time, the processing, the location: PERFECT! Congratulations on achieving your highest score, a 7.1+ and a ribbon with this amazing photo!
Becky-Lee pointed this out to me during voting and I gasped. I had to make sure to vote at least 20% so that I could give this a 10. I NEVER give 10's! (well, almost never...)
I feel the sunset in the sky is more the subject of this pic than the power lines... That said, tremendous colors and processing. I sort of wish you had found some more interesting silhouettes to contrast with the sky and than put this into another challenge, or maybe a free study.
OK well there are quite a few power line shots in the challenge but this is the first one that has made me stop and go wow. Excellent composition and outstanding lighting and colour 9
WOW! Besides the sharpness and clarity, what really blows me away is the different lines/textures in the differently-coloured parts of the sky. Stunning balance with the leading lines, yet puts the poles nicely on a third, and the half and half in the sky balances perfectly. Simply stunning!
